The small seaside village of Sagres in Portugal is full of colour and texture thanks to Esmeralda Jorge. Her Crochet creations add a sense of flair and intrigue which instantly draws you in.
She first put needle to string at age of 15 mostly self taught through the use of magazines and books, she is far too humble to except praise and I think at times unaware of her artistic greatness however it is clear that Esmeralda Jorge is a true Artist ! A stunning example of someone who genuinely creates simply for the love of it. I was extremely blessed to receive a special handcrafted apron from Esmeralda, which I will cherish for life.
